Reprinting a product label with KlickTrack using your Zebra label printer

When receiving inventory with poorly printed or incorrect barcodes, save time and energy using KlickTrack to be able to print new barcode labels directly from the dashboard.


 

Here are some steps to help with printing new labels using your Zebra Label Printer:

 

Configure your barcode label in KlickTrack:

  1. Select Products.
  2. Select the Search Bar.
  3. Select Barcode.
  4. Enter Barcode.
  5. Select Barcode to open the Inventory Detail screen.
  6. Toggle Edit Label to on.
  7. Enter Label Info.
  8. Enter Barcode Info.

 

 

📑 Barcode terminology & definitions:

 

Barcode: An Image used to contain a small amount of information to be easily read by a barcode scanner or cell phone app.

 

Barcode Character: A single group of bars and spaces that represents a specific individual number, letter, punctuation mark, or other symbols. 

 

Barcode Height: The height of the shortest bars in a barcode. This refers to the bars only and does not include the number at the bottom.

 

Barcode Width: Refers to the total width of all of the bars. This excludes the quiet zones on either side of the bars

 

Quiet Zones: Part of the barcode specifications that refers to the white spaces on either side of the bars. These are required to be a certain size for the barcode to scan correctly and for it to fit within the officially accepted specifications. 

 

Print a new barcode label:

  1. Select Products.
  2. Select the Search Bar.
  3. Select Barcode.
  4. Enter Barcode.
  5. Select Barcode to open the Inventory Detail screen.
  6. Select the Print icon.

 

 

Configure your barcode label in your print settings:

  1. Choose layout Landscape.
  2. Select More Settings and scroll down.
  3. Choose Paper (label) Size (ex. 2.00"x1.00").
  4. Choose margins type Custom and adjust left and right margins (0.06-0.1).
  5. Select Open PDF in Preview.
  6. Select Print.
  7. Confirm settings.
  8. Select Print to confirm in print preview.
